Flat Repair, Plug & Patch

Picked up a nail? Most flats can be fixed instead of replaced. We dismount the tire, inspect it inside and out, and do a proper plug-and-patch from the inside when it's safe to repair.

What Is flat repair?

A proper flat repair means taking the tire off the wheel, finding the puncture, and repairing it from the inside with a combination plug-and-patch — not just jamming a plug in from the outside and sending you off. We inspect the inner liner for hidden damage from driving on it low, check that the puncture is in the repairable tread area, and reseat and rebalance the tire before it goes back on.

Why Is flat repair Important?

An outside-only plug or a puncture in the sidewall can let go without warning at speed. Repairing a tire correctly the first time is far cheaper than a tire, and it keeps a good tire in service instead of throwing it away. But not every flat is safe to fix — punctures near the shoulder, big gashes, or a tire that's been run flat need to be replaced, and we'll tell you straight which one you're looking at.

When Should You Consider flat repair?

Bring it in as soon as you notice a slow leak, a tire that keeps needing air, or a nail or screw stuck in the tread. Don't keep driving on a tire that's going flat — running it low ruins the sidewall and turns a fixable flat into a tire you have to buy.

My experience with Brian was a positive one. We negotiated and agreed on a fair price, and the deal was a good one for me. The experience was great — I'd do business here again.
