Tire Balancing & Rotation

Smooth out a steering-wheel shimmy and make your tires last longer. We balance each wheel on the machine and rotate them front-to-back so they wear evenly across all four.

What Is balancing & rotation?

Balancing spins each tire-and-wheel on a machine to find heavy spots and corrects them with small weights so the wheel turns true. Rotation moves the tires to different corners of the car on a set pattern so they all wear at a similar rate. We usually do both together because a rotation is the right time to rebalance anything that's drifted out.

Why Is balancing & rotation Important?

An out-of-balance wheel shows up as a shimmy in the steering wheel or seat around highway speed, and over time it cups the tread and wears out bearings and suspension parts. Skipping rotations means the front tires (which do most of the steering and braking work) wear out long before the rears, so you end up buying tires in pairs more often than you should. A few minutes of balancing and rotation on a schedule stretches a set of tires by thousands of miles.

When Should You Consider balancing & rotation?

Rotate roughly every oil change, or every 5,000–7,000 miles. Come in sooner if you feel a vibration that gets worse with speed, notice the front tires wearing faster than the rears, or just put on a new set and want them to go the distance.

My experience with Brian was a positive one. We negotiated and agreed on a fair price, and the deal was a good one for me. The experience was great — I'd do business here again.
